Salon Success Academy is holding a Facebook contest! Enter our “Hollywood Hair” competition to be eligible to win great prizes.

The contest is open to all students of Salon Success Academy on Facebook. To enter, craft a creative hairstyle with a Hollywood theme. You can mimic movie stars, movie characters, or get creative and interpret Hollywood your own way! We want to see what kind of styles you can come up with. Do you use crazy colors and extensions? Braids and knots? Or is it just a really great cut? Show us what you’ve got, and you could win a gift certificate to CosmoProf, a professional beauty supply store.

A $100 gift certificate will be awarded to a grand prize winner. A second $100 gift certificate will be awarded to a People’s Choice winner, judged by other Facebook fans.

Contest Details:

All contestants must be students of Salon Success Academy on Facebook. To be eligible for prizes fans must also be current students of Salon Success Academy.

Only one submission per student is allowed. Project must be done at school in order to be eligible.

Students will be given specific class time to work on Hollywood Hair entries. Entries will be photographed and photos will be posted to the Salon Success Academy Facebook page.

All entries will be judged on these criteria: relation to theme, color, cut, style, overall look, and creativity. Each entry will be rated on a scale of 1-10 by representitives of Salon Success Academies.

The people’s choice award will be judged by other Salon Success Academy fans. The winner will be chosen based on the number of "thumbs up" given to each photo on the Facebook page.

Two prizes will be awarded. These prizes will be $100 gift certificates to CosmoProf.

All photos must be received by September 16, 2009, 11:59:59 PM PDT

All People’s Choice votes must be cast between September 18, 2009 8:00 AM PDT and September 25, 2009 11:59:59 PM PDT.

Winners will be announced on September 28, 2009.

All photos become property of Salon Success Academy and could be used in future advertising.
